oUR Pastors
JOE STRICKLIN has an earned Doctorate in Christian Education as well as being a graduate from Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. He has done Missions work in Latin America where he was a teacher at a national minister’s conference. Joe has served in Arkansas as a District Counselor for the Church of God of Prophecy where he also taught at their Conference of Bible Leadership.
DONNA STRICKLIN is a graduate of Shalom Bible College with a Bachelor of Ministries, a Masters in Divinty, and a Doctorate in Nouthetic Counseling. Also a graduate of Agape School of World Evangelism, and also a graduate of Financial Peace University. She has spent 24 years as co-pastor of The Gathering. She is also a Women’s Conference Speaker. Donna has a heart to see women enter into an intimate relationship with God so that they may become a mature manifestation of Christ to the world.
Hebrews 7:4-6
Now pause and consider how great this man was to whom Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth of the spoils. It is true that those descendants of Levi who are charged with the priestly office are commanded in the Law to collect tithes from the people-which means, from their kinsman-though these have descended from Abraham. But this person {Melchizedek} who is not from their Levitical ancestry received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who possessed the promises {of God}.
